Who Mettler are
Mettler is the Swiss thread brand of the Amann Group, and the single largest thread range in our catalog. It is best known for Silk-Finish Cotton, the mercerized long-staple cotton that a large share of quilt piecing is done with, and for Metrosene, the all-purpose polyester that garment sewers use the same way. Colors are consistent across weights, so a Silk-Finish 50 and a 40 match.
