Storage and display

Two kinds of product live here. For the sewing room: thread racks, bobbin boxes and bobbin savers, project bags and totes (The Goat Tote, Everything Mary), needle cases and ruler holders. For shops and studios: complete retail thread displays and cabinets stocked with thread from Aurifil, Sulky, Superior Threads, Mettler, WonderFil, Robison-Anton and Maxi-Lock — counter spinners, floor racks and wall cabinets that come filled. The retail displays are the highest-value items in the catalog and are quoted with freight at checkout.

Home storage and retail displays

For home storage, the question is spool size. Most racks take standard spools; cones need a cone rack or a wall-mounted holder. Bobbin boxes are made for a class — a Class 15/66 box will not hold M-style bobbins. BobbinSaver rings keep wound bobbins from unspooling and are sold by class.

Retail displays are sold filled, and the page states the thread line, the number of spools and the colors included — a 756-spool Aurifil floor display is a different proposition from a 48-spool counter spinner. Most display makers also sell the empty fixture and refill packs; where Brewer lists them, they are here too. Trade customers should apply for a trade account before ordering a display; these items are quoted individually.

Displays and cabinets ship as freight. Shipping is shown at checkout and the first-order discount does not apply.

Frequently asked questions

Do the thread displays come stocked?

Yes — the page lists the thread line and spool count included. Empty fixtures and refills are listed separately where the distributor supplies them.

Can I buy a display for my shop at trade pricing?

Apply for a trade account on the wholesale page; displays are quoted individually with freight.

Which bobbin box fits my bobbins?

Boxes are made for a bobbin class. Check the class on your machine (the bobbin guide explains) and match it to the box.
