Who DMC are
DMC is the French thread house founded in 1746 whose six-strand cotton embroidery floss is the reference every cross-stitch and embroidery chart is written in. Which one do I need?
- Six-strand cotton floss for cross-stitch and hand embroidery — separate the strands for the weight the chart calls for.
- Light Effects and Satin floss for metallic and high-sheen accents; Tapestry Wool for canvas work.
- Tapestry needles have the blunt point and large eye floss needs.
