Overlock and coverstitch machines that specify ELx705. Size 80/12.
Serger needles are made to the ELx705 system for household overlockers and coverstitch machines, with a second groove on the back for the looper thread. Many machines take standard 130/705 household needles instead — check the manual.
Schmetz Serger / Overlock needles, DCx1 / B27 system, size 80/12 — medium weight, the everyday size for quilting cotton and shirting. Pack of 10.
Use for: Overlock and coverstitch machines that specify ELx705.
Fit the needle fully up into the clamp; a needle a millimeter low will skip.
