Replacement lower belt for Bernina 530. The fitment below is taken from the distributor's own listing for this part. This is a compatible replacement part rather than a manufacturer-original part.
This list comes from the distributor's listing for this part. If your model is not named, do not assume it fits — check the part you are removing against the specification below, or ask us with your model number before ordering.
What this part does
Drive belts transfer motion from the motor to the handwheel (motor belt) or between internal shafts (timing or hook drive belt). Rubber belts stretch, harden and crack with age; a cogged timing belt that has lost teeth will put the hook out of time.

How to tell if this is the right one
Motor belts are matched by length and profile (round, V or lug/cogged). Use the model list or the stated length. Internal timing belts are model-specific and must match the tooth count exactly. This is the lower position; the opposite position is a different part.
Signs you need this part
The motor runs but the machine does not turn or turns slowly, a squeal under load, visible cracks, or (for a timing belt) sudden skipped stitches and thread jams after the belt slipped a tooth.
Fitting it
Motor belts on household machines are reached by removing the handwheel cover; loosen the motor mount to slip the belt on, then re-tension so there is about 6 mm of play. Internal timing belts require the machine to be re-timed — a technician job.
Questions about this part
Does this belt fit the Bernina 530?
Yes. The Bernina 530 is on the distributor's fitment list for this part. If your model is not listed on this page, send us the model number and we will check before you order.
Is this the original Bernina part?
No — it is a compatible aftermarket part made to fit the models listed. It is not a manufacturer-original part.
How do I measure a motor belt?
Measure the outside circumference of the old belt, or wrap a string around the two pulleys. Belts are sold by length in inches; a belt about half an inch shorter than the measured path gives the right tension.
Lug belt or V belt?
Lug (cogged) belts have teeth on the inside and run on toothed or grooved pulleys. V belts are smooth and run in a V-groove. Match the type the machine came with.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched from our distributor's US warehouse. We do not hold stock ourselves and cannot promise same-day dispatch; current delivery estimates are shown at checkout, and we will email you if an item is back-ordered.
