Bobbin Case for Pfaff 145. Compatible aftermarket part. Fitment is taken from the distributor's listing; models not named are not claimed.
This is a replacement bobbin case listed by our distributor for the Pfaff 145. Supplied as a compatible aftermarket part — it is not a manufacturer-original part.
This list comes from the distributor's listing for this part. If your model is not named, do not assume it fits — check the part you are removing against the specification below, or ask us with your model number before ordering.
What this part does
The bobbin case holds the bobbin and carries the lower-thread tension spring. It sits inside the hook race and is the part that most directly controls the balance between upper and lower thread tension. On front-loading machines it is removable and is the single most commonly replaced part after the needle; on drop-in machines it is the plastic or metal cup under the needle plate.

How to tell if this is the right one
A bobbin case is specific to the hook assembly it was designed for. Match it by the machine models listed, and compare the shape of the latch, the position of the tension spring and the finger that locates it in the race. A case that fits the race but has the wrong finger position will throw the timing and skip stitches.
Signs you need this part
Loose or uneven lower tension that the tension screw will not correct, thread catching in the spring, a bent latch, a groove worn into the case where the thread passes, or birds-nesting that persists after re-threading and a new needle.
Fitting it
Remove the needle plate or hook cover, open the latch and lift the old case out. Seat the new one with its finger in the notch of the race, close the latch and turn the handwheel by hand one full turn before sewing.
Questions about this part
Does this bobbin case fit the Pfaff 145?
Yes. The Pfaff 145 is on the distributor's fitment list for this part. If your model is not listed on this page, send us the model number and we will check before you order.
Is this the original Pfaff part?
No — it is a compatible aftermarket part made to fit the models listed. It is not a manufacturer-original part.
The tension screw on my old case is stripped — is a new case the fix?
Usually yes. The spring and screw are part of the case and are not normally sold separately for household machines.
Is this the same as a bobbin holder?
Drop-in machines call the cup a bobbin holder or bobbin case interchangeably. Front-loading machines use a removable case with a latch. Match by the model list, not the name.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched from our distributor's US warehouse. We do not hold stock ourselves and cannot promise same-day dispatch; current delivery estimates are shown at checkout, and we will email you if an item is back-ordered.
