Cord for Janome / New Home 234D, 334D and 434D – 3-Wire (Compatible)

If your Janome / New Home needs a new cord, this is the part listed for the Janome / New Home 234D, 334D and 434D. This is a compatible replacement part rather than a manufacturer-original part.

This list comes from the distributor's listing for this part. If your model is not named, do not assume it fits — check the part you are removing against the specification below, or ask us with your model number before ordering.

What this part does

The power cord connects the machine to the wall socket; the control cord links the foot control to the machine. Insulation cracks at the plug end with age and is a safety fault.

Specifications

How to tell if this is the right one

Match by the plug shape at the machine end — 2-prong, 3-prong, or a molded block — and the model list where given. The wall plug must be a US type for this store.

Signs you need this part

Cracked or stiff insulation, intermittent power when the cord is moved, a plug that feels loose in the socket, or discoloration at the plug.

Fitting it

Unplug both ends before replacing. Push the new plug fully home at the machine.
