Superior OMNI is a 40wt poly-wrapped polyester core thread made for longarm and domestic machine quilting. It is strong, lint-free and has a subtle sheen that sits between cotton and trilobal polyester.
162 colors of the Superior Threads OMNI line (40wt) are available on this page. Each spool is 40wt, 6000 yd per spool.
Use it for: Machine quilting, especially longarm, and general high-speed sewing.
Needle: Topstitch 90/14 on a domestic; 4.0 or 4.5 longarm needle.
OMNI is sold on 2,000 yd mini cones and 6,000 yd cones; a thread stand lets a domestic machine run from the cone.
